Let's talk badges.
New, wide badge. Yay or nay?
Apparently they got a new V badge too.

Needs less colors. Or more earth tones. Or something. It's too garish, too flashy, too busy.

Love the new badging. No more Christmas wreath.

The wreath isn't as integral to the badge as history illustrates:
I think I like the new one, but it only really stands out on a uniform and understated grille like the Elmiraj or ATS. On something like an XTS with its slotted grille it may get lost unless a backing makes it stand out.

I didnt like the wreath anyway so I support the wreathless badge.

That's the "V Sport" badge, not the "V." "V Sport" is one level down in performance. Here's it on the 2014 CTS.
Personally I think the naming is way too confusing.

Why they would put that, on a concept ?

I think they need to simplify even further. They have an iconic shape and design but the middle is so busy. I say pick two colors and fill the quarter panels with them. Sort of semi-bmw-esque. I think this would be a badge that people could love like with VW, Honda, BMW, Subaru, Ford, Holden, Chevy, Ferrari, Lamborghini.... you get the picture. It is like a 2 color max plus black and white or silver/gray

I miss the days when Cadillacs had ducks on their badges
